2013-14 Term 3 Third Year Project 10 – Design Elective

In the third year elective each student has to define and write their own brief:

Alex Michie – The topic of “dementia” is particular to me because my Grandma suffered from the illness for many years before she passed away in 2006. I was much younger at the time but can recall many aspects of her life which became difficult. She never lived to see smartphones reach the tipping point and tablets thereafter. I believe technology has the power to considerably enhance somebody’s life, given the right design and strategy, and with it’s aid continue to live independently at home for longer.
